Pricempire
Multi-marketplace prices with a real public API and editorial indexes.
Pricempire is best for api access and editorial market indexes. Free tier with paid upgrades, and ships a public API.
What it does
Pricempire aggregates prices from Buff163, CSFloat, Skinport, Steam Market, DMarket, and a half-dozen others into a single feed. It's the only large site in the space with a free public API (30k requests/month), which makes it the canonical data layer for downstream tools (including some on this page).
Its editorial Indexes section tracks knife, sticker, and skin baskets over time — useful when you want to know "are knives up or down this month" without scrolling through 50 items. Portfolio tracking is included but requires signup.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Free public API (30k req/mo) — the only one in this niche
- Aggregates 7+ marketplaces in one call
- Editorial knife/sticker/skin indexes
- Built-in portfolio tracker
Caveats
- Higher API tiers paid
- Index methodology weights are partly opaque
- Portfolio sync requires account
