Damage Calculator

CS2 damage calculator — how many shots to the head?

Pick a weapon, dial in range with the slider, choose your armor. The body silhouette colors each hit zone by damage and flags one-shot kills automatically. The falloff curve charts how damage decays past 10 metres, and the comparison strip benchmarks against the most-used weapons. Your setup saves locally.

Tip: click any row in the comparison strip to swap weapons.

Approximation note: CS2’s per-weapon damage falloff coefficients are not fully public. We use a global linear falloff (100% at 0u → 60% at 1500+u) plus the standard armor coefficient (0.5 + 0.5×armorPen). Wallbang penetration through wood / metal / concrete uses each weapon’s own penetration value — not modeled here. Numbers land within ±5 HP of in-game damage at typical engagement ranges. For exact values, run mp_warmup_end; sv_cheats 1; impulse 101 in a private match, or open the AK-47 detail page for the full hits-to-kill matrix.
